ELECTION NEWS

In the morning, the chapter members began the election process working in small groups. After discussing the criteria for General Superior and Councillors, which had been sent to the Institute earlier this year, they had the opportunity to suggest the names of sisters who could be considered for election. The list of all those suggested was given to each chapter member.

 

In the afternoon, the chapter members were asked to write letters inviting sisters to consider a call to serve the Institute. As a hymn asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit was sung, the delegates were given the forms on which they would write the letters.
