NOVITIATE NEWS 2010 -2011

At this time of transition in the Novitiate we would like to share a little of our life story over this past year with you. Our experience has clarified for us that life in Formation can change from day to day and Formation is a very personal area – a journey more of depth than obvious exterior movement. It is not always easy to share things in a public forum. Also as they say about Politics ‘a day is a long time...and a lot can happen in a day’. So it is in Formation.

We continue to be ‘super impressed’ and deeply grateful for the extraordinary support, personal presence, written messages and emails, gifts and especially prayer, which you share with us. Our thanks too, for the books, magazines and music which contribute so much to the work here. All of this is so formative for the novices - towards a deepening sense of our being one body for mission.

FORMATION TEAM - COMINGS AND GOINGS

The Formation Team has continued to have monthly days with our facilitator Ana Maria. This has been very helpful. Our last meeting with her helped us to move into a transition as Isabel Grangeon leaves us and Bernadette McNamara joins the Team.

We are immensely grateful for all Isabel´s contributions to the Formation in the Novitiate in these first three years. Her particular skills in Music and Information Technology, including responsibility for the Web, contributed greatly to our life together.
THANK YOU ISABEL from all of us.

We welcome Bernadette and look forward to a new dynamic as she joins the Team. Her wide experience and wisdom will enhance and complement the gifts of the Team and even add a touch of ´´je ne sais quoi´.
