Novena

Loving God, on this 200th anniversary of the birth of Jean Gailhac, we give thanks for the particular gift of the spirit given to him and to our Institute for the service of the Church and the life of the world.
We look back in gratitude for the many people who have been part of the mission you entrusted to Jean Gailhac of making you known and loved and of proclaiming that Jesus, your Son came that all may have life. May the flame of zeal that you inspired in Father Gailhac, continue to burn today in the hearts of all members of our Institute and all those associated with us in mission throughout the world.
May we be united in our response to the urgent needs of our time. Amen.




All RSHM are invited to take part in a novena of prayer leading to the bicentenary of Father Gailhac’s birth on 13th November 2002. We ask all our friends and colleagues, to join with us in the following prayer, thanking God for the life of Father Gailhac and asking that we be faithful to the mission entrusted to us today of continuing to make God known and loved, as he did.
